So for my Critical History of Photography class I have been assigned to choose a "meaning photograph" and write a little about it. As easy as this sounds I realized I'm not sure what photographs are most meaningful to me. Is it a family photo, a childhood portrait, a place I've visited, a artistic photograph I've taken, or just something that makes me happy? Now I understand there are different categories of photography and it is part of this assignment to recognize that, but there are too many options! In all honesty, I think the photos I love the most are the ones I have doctored with Photoshop, but I feel that after the photo has been through that process is has no truth left and therefore shouldn't be allowed to be chosen. Maybe the truth of the photo was gone even before I doctored it? I Googled "meaningful photo" for fun to see what image results I would get and I should have known I would get the most random results including a football player, a wedding photo, a half naked lady, and a cartoon. HAHA.
Share some of your thoughts and meaningful photographs......

Hmm...I'd say almost all photographs are meaningful after losing the majority of mine this year. But for yours I think you should pick one either with people you really care about or a moment you remember fondly or a photograph you took that you think is especially nice or artistic. I'm sure you have plenty of those.
You know pictures that have you are meaningful for me :) haha <3 you
